John Vaida is Chairman of the Fine Arts Department at Wyoming Seminary, a College Preparatory School in Kingston, PA. John's interest in international performance is reflected in his work in the international choral community. He serves as the American representative on the Executive Board of the International Choral Network, is active in the International Federation for Choral Music and has served as a member of the International Artistic Advisory Committee for Italy’s “Peraro Chorus”. As a guest conductor, he has most recently participated in festivals in Athens, Greece, Geissen, Germany and Schyren, Germany. In the fall of 2000 he served as the guest conductor for the Choirs of Grunberg, and taught at the Saint Lioba School in Bad Nauheim, Germany.

A native of Connecticut, John is a graduate of Westminster Choir College where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Voice in 1973. He holds degrees from Marywood University, the Julius Hart School of Music and the Glinka State Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia.
